Cheap Acrylic Aquarium
I think I'm leaning towards a cheap acrylic aquarium. They have all kinds of neat ones that fit right in to your home. I saw one that is the size and shape of a painting, that you can hang on the wall. There was another one that is completely clear on all sides, and can be used as an end table for a couch or bed. That would be kind of cool, to have a table with fish swimming around inside of it. I'm not sure if I want ot go the home décor route or just get a more traditional version though.

The standard cheap acrylic aquarium is nice as well. Something that really looks like a fish tank. You can just put it off to the side of the room and make it more of a stand-out decoration in its own right. You can put fun things inside it, like one of those little, scuba divers or a sunken pirate ship, or a castle, for example. I've always thought that those toys were great on their own, even without the cheap acrylic aquarium. When I've gone to pet stores before, I've been tempted to buy some of those just to put them on my desk or something. I think they would be fun to play with.
I guess that even if I got a cheap acrylic aquarium that looked like an end table I could still put a pirate ship inside of it. That could be interesting in a way. It could play off the belief at the time that the world was flat. You know, flat table-top, flat world, pirate ship. I guess that would be overthinking the cheap acrylic aquarium though. It's probably not a subject that requires any deep thought whatsoever.
I have a habit of thinking too much about the deeper meaning of things. That's a quality that makes getting dumped by someone harder. You tend to sit around and think about every little thing that you could have done, and analyze it all to death. That's not good. The best thing anyone in this situation can do for themselves is just to move on quickly and cleanly. But that'll have to be filed under, "do what I say and not what I do." That's why I wanted to distract myself with some fish. Something to watch might do the trick for me. especially if I get a few of them and really go all out with fixing the tank up nicely. Then I can observe them swim, play, love, and hate among the castles. Like their own community with a set of rules and a way of behaving that I haven't seen before.
I would like to study other ways of behaving, because at this point, I don't understand ours. Mainly love and the way that it can just crumble in on you. I doubt that my cheap acrylic aquarium will solve those issues for me in my mind, but it could at least give me a new perspective that I can go off on my own with.
